Simon is a Co-Founder and CEO of Curtis & Coulter LLC. Within his role, Simon oversees product development, innovation, marketing strategy, business operations and growth strategy across the organization. Simon’s entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm, commercial drive and advanced industry knowledge resulted in him collaborating with his business partner, Mark Coulter to co-found Curtis & Coulter LLC.
Simon has over 10 years of experience within market research, strategy and commercialization of conference development within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. His experience spans both the U.S. and Europe. Simon previously held a senior production and team leader role with ExL Pharma. Within this role, he successfully led a team of profitable conference producers through all aspects of the product development and commercialization phase. Additionally, he developed a series of highly profitable launch events and grew them exponentially. Prior to this position, Simon held a senior production role with IQPC at their New York office, and had a major role within developing new pharmaceutical events for the commercial portfolio. He has also held advanced positions with both GlaxoSmithKline and The SMi Group in the United Kingdom.
Simon is a keen sketch artist and continues to work successfully on a freelance basis with a number of leading publications in New York City, including DC Comics. Additionally, Simon has previously displayed his work at New York Comic Con. His other interests include sport and travel. He is a certified TEFL teacher and has taught English to young adults in both Czech Republic and China. Simon holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Leeds, UK.

Mark is also Co-Founder & CEO of Curtis & Coulter LLC and is a 20 year veteran of the corporate events industry. Within his role, Mark provides strategic leadership, heads up commercial interests, corporate partnerships, produces events and handles PR/Media relations.
Along with being an entrepreneur, Mark has a keen interest in the arts and holds a BA (Hons) in English & Drama from The University of Leeds in England. He is a proud member of UK Actor’s Equity, studied at New York’s famous Neighborhood Playhouse and a graduate of the New York Acting Studio.
Mark hails from a town called Fort William in the beautiful Scottish Highlands and his other interests include, traveling, reading, writing, world cinema and soccer. He has recently relocated to La Jolla, California after 15 years in New York City. Better weather!
