The opiod crisis has recently been taking up alot of coverage in the media in the US, Indeed, deaths from overdoses due to opiods in the US alone are greater than the deaths from auto accidents each year. Many organizations have been working diligently to develop abuse deterrent opioid medications to combat addiction.

Purdue University have long been working on this and we wanted to share a presentation deck titled “Development and Regulation of Abuse Deterrent Opioid Medications” from Steve Byrn from Purdue University.
